KMEZ is one of the oldest metallurgical enterprises in the Urals, founded in 1757 by the legendary Nikita Demidov, a representative of the famous industrial dynasty of the Demidovs.

Today, the main activity of KMEZ is fire and electrolytic refining of rough copper, processing of copper scrap and waste containing precious metals, obtaining copper cathodes of the M00k brand, copper wire rod of class A, as well as precious metals.

The production capacity is 140 thousand tons of copper wire rod per year and 140 thousand tons of copper cathodes per year.

Copper electrolysis workshop;
Warehouse of anodes and anode residues;
Cathode storage.

Project achievements:

Our project has been implemented to install a lighting system for the reconstructed copper electrolysis workshop and adjacent buildings and structures with the Dynalite Philips lighting control system.
